CHARACTER PROFILES

soleil Started working as part of an idol since he was pretty young and has always loved doing that. He loved interacting with fans, and was extremely hard working. Shortly after his 19th birthday, he came out as trans publicly. It divided his public a bit and although the people angry about it were rather loud, most of the people that followed his work fully supported him. Sol never changed his name as he still liked the name he had and it didn't cause him dysphoria at all. He had started going on low-dose HRT some months before going public about it all, but stopped taking it when his voice started to drop, as he was scared of being unable to adapt. He didn't mind it thought, as his biggest source of dysphoria had always been his chest anyway. He never minded dressing in cute, even "feminine" ways, even post transition. As long as he could bind and let his body hair grow naturally, he was actually happy in his skin. His biggest fear has always been pregnancy and he had expressed extreme distress at the thought from a very young age, even before been aware of being trans, always saying he would rather die than have children. Although Sol's career wasn't doing bad, he was the worst performing at his agency, numbers-wise, which made him self-conscious. So, when Barbara, his manager approached him with dire news about how the company was about to fail and how his "sacrifice" could help the other idols (who were his friends) not end up without a job, he felt obliged to accept, despite the awfullness of what was proposed. Trusting his manager, he barely even read the whole thing, as it made him too disgusted. Little did he know trusting his manager would end up the worst mistake of his life.

amon One of Soleil's fans. He won the raffle to take Sol's virginity on video. He's like a version of human Amon that spent too much time on the internet. You know where, I don't need to say it. He's transphobic because he couldn't accept Sol's transition, before he just didn't care enough. He can't bring himself to hate him though, nor is he obssessed with "fixing" him like the kidnapper. Eventually he does grow into a better person and actually tries to help Sol out of his situation. It takes a while though, lots of layers to deconstruct.

barbara Sol's manager. She is money-hungry as hell, and was convinced that if she made Sol do something really shocking it would give her a lot of financial return. The company was never in danger, she just lied and took advantage of Soleil's kindness and gullibleness, trapping him in a neverending contract. Her end goal is to use Soleil's case as proof her ideas sell best than regular idol things and convince the CEOs to make all idols under their contract start making porn. Is she just a pervert? Yeah, that too. She does it mainly for the money, but she does get off of putting people through humiliating things, she just doesn't want to admit it. "Why won't she just work with people who want to do porn." Coercing and trapping people is part of what makes it fun for her, I suppose. If you asked her, she'd probably say something like "it's easier to sell the image of a real pure idol who becomes corrupted than someone who just pretends!" but we all know it's just an excuse.
